Civil status information

French town halls (mairies) are used to binding as they have practised it for the civil registers of births, deaths and marriages since the French Revolution. These registers must be bound at least every 10 years and the binding must guarantee their strength and durability.
I can bind recent civil status acts and I also intervene for the restoration of old records. This involves considering all possible treatments and choosing the least gentlest solution for the documents. I try to use processes, products (glues, dyes...) and materials (paper, cardboard, leather, canvas) which can easily be reversed if required.
Whether for new documents or to restore old ones, please contact me for a quote.
